Hi my name is Melanie and I love life. I bring positivity and encouragement to those who need it. I look at everything with excitement and through fresh eyes . I love all things hair makeup and nails. I treat the people i support with love and care and will strive to go above and beyond for them in order to achieve their goals.I endeavor to provide a safe environment that they can thrive in and I love making the people I support the best version of themselves they can possibly be.

Suraya

I am a warm and friendly natured support worker and enjoy creating a positive and safe environment for our participants.

The most rewarding part of my role is the bright smiles shared with our Happy Branches group.

I am passionate about supporting people to live their lives to the fullest, empowering them to reach their goals and maintain independence in a way that feels right for them.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time trying new recipes and connecting with nature.

Badrieh

I’m Badrieh, but known as Badz by most. Family means everything to me, and I bring that same sense of warmth and care to supporting our participants. I believe in creating a welcoming, family-like environment where we all can feel safe, valued, and understood. With a motherly approach, I strive to listen with empathy, offer gentle guidance, and provide the kind of encouragement that helps our participants thrive. My goal is to be a steady, caring presence—someone who young people can trust and turn to, much like family.

Leilani

Hi I’m Leilani. I believe that my quirky, empathetic self allows a space for young people to freely explore themselves in a safe, caring environment. As a sister to many siblings, it is this same energy that I carry to my support sessions, hoping to offer encouraging, fun and valuable assistance to those who need a gentle push to achieve their goals. A goal of mine is to create a confident, positive, safe space for people to trust and laugh with while we learn and grow together.

Peter

My name is Peter and I am the gentle force within the Happy Branches team. I enjoy being apart of supporting our participants to grow each and everyday with many laughs along the way. I have many secret talents but the most obscure is playing the South American drums. This reflects my energetic and lively personality.

Rabieh

My name is Rabieh. I have a passion for all things music. My favourite part of my role as a support worker is meeting new people and exploring new things everyday.

Sarah

My name is Sarah. I am an energetic, motivated support worker who enjoys every aspect of connecting to individuals within the community and social justice advocacy.
I have over 10 years of
experience within community Social Work sector including psychological recovery coach, and facilitating groups.

My strengths include creating warm and nurturing spaces for individuals and families to feel safe.
